"Who Am I?"

Hi, my name is Ruth and this is my family. I've been married to Gerd for almost 20 years and have 2 children, Kim and Michael. I was born in Glasgow and have been living in Holland since 1986, although I still think of myself as Scottish. I am a qualified doctors' assistant, which, in Holland, is a cross between a practice nurse and a medical secretary. In other words I had to do a bit of everything. I loved my job, socialising and helping all my patients but due to the on-going stress I had to give my job up after 3 years. Unfortunately things got worse instead of better and I became quite ill. I knew I had to do something to get myself back on my feet but I didn't know what.

One day while watching TV I saw an American programme called Dr. Phil which featured the plant, Aloe Vera and the positive influences the Aloe Vera gel can have on the body and health. I was so impressed that I immediately went to my computer to do some research on the Internet. After finding and reading umpteen sites about Aloe Vera I decided to try it out, and with success. One month later I felt so much better that I wanted to go back to work. I knew I didn't want to work in a doctors' practice again so when it was suggested to me that I could combine work and the Aloe Vera products, which by now I had tried and loved, I grabbed the opportunity of helping others in my own way. That is how my global company started: AloeVera Scotland.

Ours is a truly International business, with Head Offices in 110 countries around the globe. Presently I am active in 3 countries, The Netherlands, Scotland and the USA and I have also been registered to expand my business to Switzerland, France, Scandinavia and Australia when the opportunity arises. All my life I have been looking for that certain something that would challenge and excite me and finally I have found it in Network Marketing. When I started my own company I was just an ordinary wife and mother of 2 children who never seemed to have time for anything else other than work and household chores. Now I am still a wife and mother but I now have time for myself, the result being, an independent, happy and healthy woman who knows where she's going and what she wants out of life.
